ASIKS D.O.O. & ASIKS Company D.O.O., stand on the shoulders of a timber harvesting pedigree that goes back to the mid-19th century – a generational experience that we have expanded on in the last three decades by integrating the later stages of the supply chain.
The opening of our first sawmill in the late nineties (under the ASIKS D.O.O. name) marked a significant milestone in our journey from a harvesting company to a fully vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier. Today, we operate more than 2.5 million square feet of sawmill premises across two sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina and are proud to say that we have the ability to completely manage the entire supply process from tree to end-user. Along the way, we have strengthened our position as a leading timber supply company and amplified our industry presence.
ASIKS D.O.O., runs two sawmills with a total production capacity of 3.500 M3 per month in spruce-sawn timber and 1000 M3 kiln drying capability. ASIKS Company D.O.O., runs one sawmill, with the capacity of producing 5.000 M3 per month of spruce-sawn timber, and 1500 M3 kiln drying.

The war in Bosnia in the early nineties devastated large parts of the country. As a long-standing part of the logging industry, ASIKS and ASIKS Company, were able to help rebuild and support Bosnia by opening a sawmill – leveraging our extensive and enviable sector experience to ensure success.
The companies are primarily involved in the manufacture of spruce-sawn timber – the most common type of wood to be found within Bosnia’s extensive forests. We take great care to ensure that we choose the right logs for each client and project, and every piece of wood that we pass to end-users is subjected to our rigorous quality control checks and treated before shipping.
Our headquarters are in Bosanski Petrovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our global business is operated from this site, conveniently located in close proximity to both the biggest forestry areas in Bosnia and the Croatian seaports.
We trade our high-quality timber products across the globe, with an active customer base in more than 20 countries. Our timber is primarily sourced in south-eastern Europe and shipped quickly and efficiently wherever needed.
